who am i?

hi, my name is Rhys Arnold and i am the Webmaster for Suddenly Strange. i am from new zealand  - actually, a place called Titahi Bay  (below), a small seaside suburb north of  Wellington).  i am a freelance computer consultant.  lately, i have spent most of my  time working outside NZ on software implementation projects in South East Asia and Latin America.  i specialise in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementations....yawn! - though, if you want to know more about that, check out my main website.

 

... basically, i liked the music from Drive so much i wanted to find out more about the musician who wrote, performed and produced the album.  the Web was the logical place to find the information... when i first started looking, the information was scattered across the Web, so I just went from there trying to pull it together.  (in the meantime Henry Park and Chris Tse created impressive Bic Runga websites). secondly, as a new zealander, i am really proud of what Bic  has achieved. hopefully, this site, as well as the other fan websites, provide a useful means for anyone outside NZ to get up to date information about this great musician. the challenge is to keep the site up-to-date while i am on the move... and also to get the latest news from NZ (so please be sympathetic if you see big gaps in the site updates).
