May-01
| The
is an interesting interview with Bic in the May 2001 issue of Real Groove
magazine. Bic talks about the struggle with the second album (which
is now due out in October). Bic says "I nearly completed a whole
record last year, and then just scrapped it 'cause it wasn't right. I was
writing for the wrong reasons such as selling records or pleasing people.
It was me trying to be something that I wasn't. I was experimenting with
beats and electronic music and basically trying to emulate things that
I've heard before, which is missing the point. My whole trip now is to
find out what music I would make if I was being honest." |
